Working With The Community

Wye School is set in the heart of Wye and considers the relationship with that community and the surrounding villages to be of great significance and value.  In our first year, we have established links with:

-          Agriculture

-          The church

-          Local businesses

-          Youth groups

-          U3A

-          Parish Council

and many others. We have visited a number of these and also hosted many visits.  We have regular lettings to local groups, have invited local contributors to speak in assemblies and to help deliver our activities programme and have worked collaboratively on projects with community figures and organisations.

We have also forged links with local primary and secondary schools and have a weekly programme of inter-school fixtures and events. As we grow, we look forward to deepening the ties we have already made and establishing many more in the local community.

If you would like to get involved with the school or if you have any ideas of how the school can interact with and support the local community, please email office@wyeschool.org.uk.
